Invalid View State Generic Error

Prism Friends,

The State of Tennessee has been live since April 1, 2009. Although I
was just recently informed about this problem, I believe it has been
happening since we went live.

Users are getting the generic error "An Error has occurred in PRISM.
Please contact the Help Desk for assistance" intermittently when
updating or adding a interview record.

When a user clicks on "update" in the interview record they may get
the "generic error". They can go back to that record another time
within the hour or the next day and be able to update the record.
Also the same goes for trying to add an interview record.

This error is intermittent and does not appear to happen at any
particular time or point. The exception log is logging (I only copied
some of the exception log error) :
