Hi,

We're working with NH who only has one health dept and therefore one area.  Are there any states in this situation that could reply back to me to help us get our PRISM configured correctly for one dept?

Thank you!

You would have to have two.  HQ and say Area 01.  The system was not designed to have just HQ.

Hi Mary,

We have area 01 with one user, Linda, as area manager and about five people there along with all counties assigned to area 01.  For HQ, we have as the main manager Terri, who is also OOJ, can Terri work cases and close them out as an OOJ person?  I must confess I don't know the business process at NH as to assigning the cases.

Thanks!

Yes, the OOJ person can work cases depending on the privileges granted to her.  There may have to be some privileges being blocked to the OOJ role that we would need to open up.  Are the five people in area 01 really HQ people and they were just put in area 01 to work the records?  If so, I would move them to HQ and make them all STD Surveillance Coordinators.  That way they can work records in any area and do most everything (may have to open up a few privileges to this role as well).  Do you have anyone in HQ defined as an Administrator?  You need at least one.

Hi Mary,

Yes, we have at least one person as administrator in HQ, I'll send your note here along and maybe that can help with our setup, thanks for your help!

Thanks,
-Tom
