Notsure if anyone else is having the same issue, but I go to download C-Xbox from the ISO Zone, gives me a network error when downloaded. Tried to download on this site as well, same issue, network error. Can download everything else from these sights just fine.

I had no problem downloading it from firedrop using TiZ's Downloads > Microsoft Xbox > Tools > c-xboxtool207 download button. Must have been a temporary network problem.

I uploaded the latest 2.0.7 version to ogXbox.com's downloads:

XblConnectedStorage.exe is used to download the connected storage data for a user. TheXbox services Developer Account tool (XblDevAccount.exe) is requiredto sign in using a developer account prior to using the Xbox Connected Storage tool.

The Connected storage tool can be used to fetch an XML file representing the game save in theimport and export file format (NDA topic)Authorization required. The XML file is meant for use with the xbstorage.exe tool)Authorization required.which can be used to import data from the XML file into a connected storage space for use withXbox Development Kit. The tool will handle decompression of gzipped saves automatically.

Protecting the privacy of users and game save data is important. A developer account requires certainpermissions to access the game save data using the Xbox Connected Storage tool. To view or modifythose permissions for a developer account, follow these steps:

This error occurs when trying to access a SCID/Sandbox combination that the current developer accountdoesn't have permissions to access. For guidance on how to resolve this issue, see thePermissions needed to use the tool section of this document.

Assorted prying tools for all types of enclosure opening, cable unhooking, digitizer removal and more. A complete set of opening tools all in one kit, perfect for electronic repairs. For professionals and beginners alike.

Three slim tweezers for holding and manipulating small and delicate components. Blunt, pointed, and angled versions. Ergonomically shaped and ESD-safe. Includes a sturdy storage pouch. For electronics and other tasks where keeping a good grip is important.

Like many things, there is no on screen indicator of HOW TO DO STUFF and we have no manual. So almost every aspect of the game is trial and error. (plus deaths)

So far having fun, but when basic game mechanics are hidden the fun starts decreasing rapidly. Spent most of a day trying to figure out how compost heaps work, squinting at icons, and trying to figure out what they are supposed to be.

Whoever ported the UI to the xbox needs to spend some time on the wheel of pain, they did a bad job of it.

I was able to make a cinematic cameras menu using steam input, but the steam version of DCS is not required for the tool. When using my tool you can tap once then press down on the d pad of your xbox controller for the camera menu to appear. If you select an option from the camera menu, the tool will switch to that camera and automatically switch the control scheme of the Xbox controller to best manipulate that specific camera type. You should theoretically be able to create a DCS cinematic video without having to the touch keyboard with my tool.

I initially created this tool for members of the flying community I'm apart of but I thought I might as well improve upon it and share it publicly. This is the sort of thing I wished existed for me when I first trying make videos in DCS. So I hope others find it helpful.

It's awesome, but the "Filming" option doesn't appear in my list, even though I have enabled "Show all...". I am using an Xbox One controller, and I have also tried installing the extended feature support driver.

Turn on steam big picture mode. Then launch your DCS. While in game press shift tab then open controller options, then re apply my layout. See if the menu appears now. I'm thinking your steam some how now never applied the layout even though you told it to. I remember this happened to me one time but I thought it was a fluke, I had to run it in big picture mode then it seemed to work just fine from then on.

Hi CrowDude. Just wondered if there had been any advances on this? I too cannot find the file listed. Shame we cant use a local file rather than have to rely on the cloud system within steam. Nobody seems to know why it isnt showing.

What controller do you have? Steam needs to see it as an xbox controller. I wish there was a way to share physical file of my template. When you search for it can click on show all layouts. I've also published an experimental version for ps4 controllers see if can find it now. Latest update is 6.5 >>>

For those reading this wondering - change DCS as a none beta version. (ie. no version.. "none") Then locate the controller file from crow as he describes. Then export it into your own personal collection of mappings and then go back to openbeta and reapply the controller config that you saved.

For the pop menu to appear you need to have steam overlay itself turned on. You can try running steam in big picture mode if don't see the menu at first. Go to steam settings, in game, tick enable steam overlay while in game. The menu is pretty vital for advance filming.

Hey man, could you please explain some more? So, first of all, I use DCS Multi-Thread version. Tried to install layout for it but does not work, only works for the "standard" version. So I tried to first locate the layout in community tab using standard version, export it (save it), then add the MT version to Steam but could not apply the exported layout somehow What am I doin wrong? Thanks for any help! :)

Cause I get to install it but then it "f**ks" up later on so right now its better to use it with standard version HOPING that it will be updated to MT also so we can install MT and find the preset in community layout in Steam...

make sure steam overlay is enabled or you won't see the menu. You can also try steam big picture mode. If you can press left shift left tab during game play and no steam over lay turns on then that how you know its not enabled.

The recalibration tool can be accessed through the Xbox accessories app. On Xbox consoles, this can be found by pressing the Xbox button on the controller > Profile & System > Settings, Devices, and Connections > Controllers and Headsets. For PC users, the Xbox accessories app can be downloaded from Microsoft.

In addition to the recalibration tool, the February update included improved filtering and sorting for games and apps, and touchscreen controls for Xbox remote play. Microsoft recently announced that the entire Xbox catalog will be available for cloud play this year, and the new control options will support that.
