IP address

Would be ok if I could enter the printers IP address. It can't find my HP 6800 on 192.168.1.77

My printer is listed HP Officejet e709n.  I am trying to print from my HTC Droid incredible. I entered all of the printers info(i.p. address etc.)  It still can't find printer.
