Hi Bob and all
I have Adobe Standard V8 and Reader V9 installed on my production
laptop.
My program produces a text file, writes it to a directory for PW to
create a PDF from. The text file contains extensive PWML commands to
produce a/r statements from my customer database.

On my production computer, the PDF output has errors, where the last
column of invoice balances prints one on top of the other instead of
in the row where the invoice balance is placed via the PWML commands.
(This occurs on both Print Wizard v3 and v4.) When I move the text
file to another computer with Adobe Reader V9 installed, and run PW
from there using this same text file, there are no errors when PW
creates the PDF file.

Two questions:
1. Do you think I'm on the right track in blaming this issue on the
multiple versions of Adobe?
2. Is there a way to solve this by forcing PW to access only Reader V9
processes?

Hi Joe,

If Print Wizard is producing the PDF directly (not "printing" to the
Acrobat driver), it should not matter what is installed on the machine. To
verify this, take a PDF created on your machine to the production machine.

The other variable that comes to mind is the reference printer. Print
Wizard makes certain reference to a printer (usually the Windows default
printer) when creating PDFs, and that might have bearing.

Please send me the PWML input file privately.
