Please see Terry’s message and the link below; if you have time still this week, please ask your students to offer their thoughts on Global Citizenship for this student-driven white paper for UNESCO.

Subject: Help Needed TODAY: Student responses on a Global Citizenship Survey:
From: Terry Godwaldt <terry.g...@epsb.ca>

Dear Educators,

We are writing a paper for UNESCO on Global Citizenship Education and need more student data. Here is a link to the survey we are circulating. We need the student feedback for this weekend, so if you can get as many of your kiddos to fill it out as possible, that would so very appreciated!!

 Here is the url: http://goo.gl/forms/pEl7Zi0KeV

Thank you for getting it out there.

Dear All,

Thank you all for an amazing day on Wednesday!! Your students were amazing!!

Now, let's talk about next steps:

March 13-16th - Student Synthesis - This is where we have a small group of students who are going to identify trends in the data and create a survey which each school will share with their schools/communities.

March 16-18th - Student Work Validation and feedback - This is where schools take the surveys and share them with their student body, validating and providing feedback on the work accomplished through the Virtual Town Hall. A link will be sent with instructions on the 16th.

March 21 & 22 - Writers Retreat - We come together, via WebEx, and synthesize all the ideas and research into a comprehensive paper.  Basically, it starts on Saturday and runs all day long and on Sunday until lunch. More details early next week.

Post March 21 - The paper is sent to a publishing house in Toronto, who then edits and publishes it in the form of a document like this. See link. It takes about a month before it is published.

Does this make sense? Feel free to drop me a line if you need for clarity. I'll send the link to the survey on Monday. Our goal is that it will be completed by at least 1000 students!!

Dear All,

As per my email last week, are any of you feeling like you would benefit from a 30 min to an hour dress rehearsal today? Just to make sure all the parts are in place for Wednesday? My proposed time would be 1:00 Mountain/3:00 Eastern.

As I have not heard a response, I can only assume that you are all feeling good to go? I will only host the dress rehearsal if there is a desire to participate.

Dear All,

As we draw near to the virtual town hall next week, there are a few details we should clarify.

This week's meeting:
2) Please make sure your students have their blogs up by the end of the day today. Please also make sure that all your students have read and commented on at least one other blog.
