The American School of Bombay
invites you to the
Global Social Entrepreneurship Summit
February 25th - 27th, 2016
American School of Bombay
Mumbai, India
What is the Global Social Entrepreneurship Summit?
GSES is a student-run summit that merges design thinking with social entrepreneurship. It is a space where students and educators from around the globe can design innovative solutions and processes that can change the way communities interact.
Areas of Focus
Using the design thinking process, participants will design a prototype and action plan for a social enterprise addressing a social challenge they feel passionate about. Some areas of focus could be:
  • Poverty Alleviation
  • Environment Sustainability
  • Education
  • Agriculture
  • Waste Management
  • Human Trafficking
Participants will engage in an experience trip to gain empathy, learn from successful social entrepreneurs and change makers in the above areas, and have an opportunity to talk about the implementation of these ideas.
