Cheers solar enthusiasts,
What an amazing day! We completed the 3,000 km journey from Darwin to Adelaide purely on solar. Hayley drove the final 74 km to the finish line at Victoria Square and we all posed under the banner before running and jumping in the city fountain. While we had to spend the rest of the day packing the crate, we ended with a celebratory steak dinner at Outback Jacks complete with lots of laughs and Trey eating a kilo of steak (and sides) in 30 minutes.
We have had such a fun and challenging learning experience together these past two weeks. While it will be bittersweet leaving Australia on Monday, the Outback will forever remain a special memory for all of us.
