Day 3 and 4 in Darwin

Hello supporters!

Day 3: Wow, what an incredibly successful day here in Darwin. Our team fitted solar cells onto the vehicle and began wiring them into Ra X's electrical system. With that, the outside of Ra X is complete and she looks gorgeous. We also began testing our outback satellite system thanks to our sponsor, ITC Global. Day 3 was a critical step to getting Ra X ready to roll down the road, as the car has not been tested all together yet.

Day 4 was Friday: The array was completed today and our electrical team is looking forward to testing the power output on Saturday in the bright, Australian sun. Ra X was also booted up and moved under it's own power for the first time in over 6 weeks; not bad for a journey across the Pacific! We were able to finish up the required signage and lighting for our support vehicles as well. The advanced team is preparing for the arrival of the main team on Sunday; excitement is mounting to get all hands on deck and to get Ra X on the track for testing!
