Come out to the All-Ages Folk Dance presented by the Princeton Country Dancers at the Suzanne Patterson Building (Princeton, NJ) on Sunday, February 8, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.! Our family-friendly dance features square dances, contra dances, play party games, other traditional American dances, and sometimes folk dances from around the world; it’s great fun for the whole family, from young children (ages 4 and up) to parents and grandparents and other adult friends. The dances will be led by local callers; live music will be provided by the Mixed Age Dance Band. Musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the MAD Band - there is a rehearsal immediately before each family dance from 2:15 - 3:00 pm. This dance will take place at the Suzanne Patterson Building, 1 Monument Drive, Princeton, NJ. The dance is open to people of all ages; no partner is needed; no experience is needed. We always have a grand time! Our All-Ages Folk Dances are a wonderful way for beginners of all ages to get into traditional dancing, in addition to providing a kid-friendly, fun atmosphere. Admission: Regular admission is $10 per person or $25 per family of 3 or more Limited income: $5-10 per person or $15-25 per family For directions and more information, including how to play with the MAD Band, go to http://www.princetoncountrydancers.org/family-dance Tell your friends and other families and help us publicize our family dances.
