I was just wondering: Among the Morphic spells I was interested in working with more are illusions/hallucinations: What level spell is the Mage equivalent of Silence 15' radius?  I know that it has to be +1 for non dipellable by touch and +1 for traveling (assuming you want to cast it on something mobile)  but I wonder how many levels aural mode are necessary?. Also would an illusion of this type affect spell casting (is there no sound or can the people just not hear?)  Can it be accomplished as a hallucination?   (major change +1, 20' Zone +1 Is it necessary to use the Non damage incapacitating modifier, it is not as severe as paralysis listed as the  examples in the book)

I don't have an answer for you, but I always found it amusing that the Illusion spell description starts off editorializing "This is a very powerful tool."

Only the minimum level of audio mode is needed, since it's the illusion of "nothing", i.e. no sound. It's a genuine silence, so it messes up spellcasting. Getting a mage to believe a hallucination that he's trapped in a Silence effect won't actually impede him from casting, but if he thinks he'll get socked with the +2 modifier he may refrain from casting anyway.
