BIM 360 Team is a cloud-based collaboration platform that allows you to work on your projects anytime, anywhere. With BIM 360 Team, you can share your designs, review feedback, and manage project data in a secure and centralized location. But before you can start using BIM 360 Team, you need to activate your subscription and assign it to your hub.
In this article, we will show you how to activate your BIM 360 Team 2016 subscription and link it to your existing or new hub. Follow these simple steps and get started with BIM 360 Team today!
The first step is to log in to your Autodesk Account using the email address that you used to purchase your BIM 360 Team subscription. Once you are logged in, you should see your BIM 360 Team entitlements under the Products & Services tab. If you don't see them, make sure you are using the correct email address and contact Autodesk Support if you need help.
Next, you need to access your BIM 360 Team contract and assign it to your hub. A hub is a virtual workspace where you can create and manage your projects. To access your contract, click on the "Access now" link next to one of your BIM 360 Team entitlements. It doesn't matter which one you choose, they all lead to the same page.
On the next page, you will see a dropdown menu where you can choose an existing hub or create a new one. If you already have a hub that you want to use with your BIM 360 Team subscription, select it from the list and click on "Assign Contract". You will see a confirmation message that shows your contract has been assigned to the hub you chose.
If you don't have a hub yet, or if you want to create a new one for your BIM 360 Team subscription, select "Sign up now" from the dropdown menu and follow the instructions to create a new hub. You will need to enter a name for your hub, choose a URL, and agree to the terms of service. After creating your new hub, go back to the previous page and repeat the process of assigning your contract to your hub.
The final step is to log in to your BIM 360 Team hub using the URL that you chose or received when creating your hub. You can also access your hub from your Autodesk Account by clicking on the "BIM 360 Team" link under the Products & Services tab. Once you are logged in to your hub, you will see that the trial banner is gone and that your hub is now tied to your contract.
Congratulations! You have successfully activated your BIM 360 Team 2016 subscription and linked it to your hub. You can now start creating and collaborating on projects with BIM 360 Team. For more help and information, visit the BIM 360 Knowledge Network or join the BIM 360 Forum.
