Peshawar Nights is a Shia book by Sultanul-Waizin Shirazi, an eminent scholar of Iran, who visited India in 1927 and engaged in a public debate with Sunni scholars on various topics of Islamic theology and history. The debate took place in the city of Peshawar, in what is now Pakistan, and lasted for ten nights. The book is a record of the arguments and evidences presented by both sides, as well as the questions and answers exchanged between them. The book was originally written in Persian and later translated into Urdu, English, Arabic, and other languages.
