Position : Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Doral, FL - (Locals)
Type: Contract, 6+ months

 

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst. The Business Intelligence Analyst (contractor) is a key contributor to the success of client and helps operational leaders make critical business decisions through their technical and analytical expertise. This role will:

 

Analyze business requirement for reporting/dashboard needs
Transform business requirement into functional and/or technical specifications
Develop, test and implement dashboards/reports using Tableau and/or Microsoft SSRS
Present developed solutions to business and technical stakeholders
Provide maintenance to reports in production
Migrate reports from old platforms (e.g. Hyperion IR) to Tableau or MS SSRS
Communicate status to management on regular basis
Maintain and update the status of assignments in the company’s project lifecycle tool, such as Daptiv.
Innovation and forward thinking are highly encouraged to propel and transform the Financial Systems team to the next level of modern Business Intelligence.
Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reports and dashboard requirements. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
Develop, test and implement Tableau and Microsoft SSRS reports and dashboards.
Prepare documentation related to requirements, reports and dashboards.
Create training materials and provide end user training.
Manage open tickets and priorities. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards.
Organize and lead report development process:  Create standard report templates for request or modifications. Document report support policy and procedures.
Maintain Report Register.

Must have presentation skills, executive summary
Manage time effectively, understanding their audience when building their dashboard and seeing the bigger picture. Compelling information/presentation in a concise way, customer view; user friendliness
