Personally, I've been on level 55 for 2 years and since I don't care for the timelimited prize from the Road to Fame quest, I've taken a break, a looong break, to mostly do events and putting the Main quests on hold. I'm still not sure I want my sims to grow old and die, hence my reluctance to progress.
Hi! I want two sims to develop their fishing skills at the same time, but the bridge in the park is not wide enough for two sims to go fishing together. I generally make my couples do the same things at the same time and develop their skills together, because it feels like easier for me to direct them together. But there is no such a chance for fishing skill. Only one sims can go fishing at a time. I think you can make the bridge wider or change its setting about sims position to allow the sims to stand and fish side by side. Even more people can go fishing on the grass among the water, not just from the bridge, I think. Or you can make little ponds in our gardens available for fishing. Please think about that. You may have done this already, but try doing other things with your other sims at a different house and then go back and try to buy the outdoor decorations. Someone reported on this site doing that kind of thing for another quest that got stuck. If this doesn't work my only other suggestion is to contact support.
- We would like to fit more than 10 sims in one house. The game recently added amazing features like the wedding venue and hair salon update, but when you can only have 10 sims per house the result is a very sad wedding with a max of 7 guests. We can't throw proper parties or fill in a "commercial/business building" (hair salon, spa, gym...) with many "customers"/"workers". Even the mall, the beach and the island fair look super empty with only 10 sims. The 10 sim limit really ruins the experience of this game in my opinion. A limit of 50 sims per house seems more realistic (that being said, I wouldn't say no to even a limit of a 100 heh), but that brings us back to the above point of having only a max of 34 sims per town, which is very little if we want to fill up our town. Rising the limit of just 4 residents in each house (max of 6 with VIP points, which, again, sucks) would also be nice. We want them big families with grandparents, parents and 7 kids 'cause why not.
- Adding to the point of the mall/beach/etc feeling empty with just 10 sims, it would be great if we had non-playable characters just strolling around the mall or the sidewalk near our homes and performing minor tasks (shopping, swimming, chatting with other non-playable characters). It would make the game more realistic and enjoyable.
- The home plots feel really isolated because when on a home plot, the sides are blurred and we can't see the neighboring homes (nor any passing cars or people). It would be so cool and realistic if we could. Kinda like how we can see the homes and cars around the downtown lofts. (See attached picture for imagined effect)
- Aquatic-themed update/furniture to be able to build our own waterpark! More options to built pools (like round, oval or irregular shapes), being able to build pools without the 3x3 limit (sometimes we just want tiny 1x3 pools in front of our homes for a cool decorative effect), being able to build shallow pools (again, for purely decorative purposes or for toddlers to play in) as well as more pool paving options would all be so cool.
@skinnylegend997I think your ideas are great .But I have 2 things you should've thought of they should also make towns bigger or add additional lots .But also allow more pets and sims to be able to move into your house
Even I went trough the list of Sims in the Simtracker to collect rewards for their last tasks & going down the list after left the Sims idle. And then i went down the list again assign Sims to play SimCity. The game didn't recognize it also.
My issue is similiar but not exactly the same. It will not let me complete the goal of having one sim play the Sims on a computer. I've had the preteen and multiple adult sims play the sims on the computer, wasting valuable sim time and it will not complete the goal so I can move on. I do have the option of spending 5LP to skip the task, but I've wasted a lot of RL time to accumulate those LPs and shouldn't have to spend them on a glitch.
I didn't see the option to "Play the Sims" on a computer at first, and couldn't complete the task. However, I was trying with a preteen. You have to use an adult, apparently. I also tried the "Play SimCity" because I didn't see the option, but it's at the middle bottom of the menu "wheel".
I also could not complete the task of four sims playing SimCity. I did it twice to make sure. No reward or recognition for having completed it. I had this problem with one or two other tasks as well (one of which was to have two sims hibernate). I just used LP to skip them because I didn't want to mess with it. What a waste!
Hi guys, ok so my biggest problem is, is that I have made sooooo much progress in the Sims (like level 46-completed all alien goals, and just got the weather machine) so I have never uploaded to the cloud --well it did upload a few times automatically but then I went in and deleted it to make more room but never uploaded again.
My question is if I buy cloud space -it tells me to upload info I need about 20gb of space to upload all the info. S that means I need to spend about 40bucks on more space just to upload my free game (and some pictures). So I'm alright spending the money BUT my question is-- if I buy the space and do an upload for the sims, will it load the progress that I'm at currently? Here's the dilemma; about a week ago, I was just making everyone go ice skating when it froze, so I gave it a minute....then another....then I went to another app and came back to it....then I shut down the app and started it back up and still frozen although when I went back to it, it stayed frozen and continues to stay frozen on the Sims loading screen...the blue one in the beginning. When I turn it on, I get the little tip for the day, and I hear the music start up and then change as if its about to turn the screen over so I can see my Sims but it just stays there" I am so upset about this!!! I know it's just a silly game but I have invested sooo much time and care into these guys and they are like my friends! Plus I'll never be able to get two story houses again or woodworking coins for elevators and all the other updates that just makes me want to cry
Please, please, please can someone help me! Please tell me some good news that if I upload to the cloud now, it'll be able to pick up the frozen game and get the progress and be able to save it!!!!! Thanks for any advice you guys. I just have absolutely no idea what in the world to do
I found something that worked for me. If you put your phone on airplane mode, then try and load the game, it will say that the game cannot be loaded, and it will ask you if you want to retry to reload your game. Take your phone off of airplane mode, and tap "retry" on the sims game, and it should load normally.
But I've tried everything I could think of which is a bunch more things than what I was able to list. And I'll do my best to answer any questions cause I know from looking all over on different forums that I'm not the only one this is happening to. It happened to a bunch of people who I think are still waiting for theirs to get fixed.
Well, no one can give you an guarantees. All you can do is try backing up, then restore to the backup. If all goes well, this will back up and restore both the app and your game data. Just be sure the app is included in your backup before backing up by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, then find the app under Backup Options (tap Show All Apps if necessary) and make sure it's set to On. Since the app is acting up, be sure it's closed before backing up (force closing it if necessary).
Hello! Your website is very helpful to me! I have a question. My weekly quest is telling me to watch a movie at midnight, but I never stay up that late. Can I start this task early as long as the task is still in the middle of completion at midnight? Or do I have to start it at midnight? Thanks for your help!
There is nothing you can do unfortunately, until she is a teen she will have to live in that house alone as you cannot move a sim below the age of a teen into a house with another sim: -sims-freeplay-getting-divorced/
They can stay there or you can move them out to live with another sim (become good friends and get the option to move in) or move them into an existing empty house as explained in this post: -sims-freeplay-empty-house-options/
I no longer want to play sims freeplay, like I want to delete the app. So Im waiting till all my sims die of old age till I no longer have anymore sims left. The only pets I have are 2 horses and I dont know what to do about them. I want to sell them or delete them but I dont know if I can. I dont want to just leave them there and delete the app. What options do I have? What should I do?
I have 34 Sims, I am on Level 54 and VIP 11. The VIP 11 indicates I can have an additional two Sims for my town. I have houses built and ready for Sims, but the option to add a Sim is still grayed out. I reached out to support two weeks ago, and again this week, but no reply (other than the generic one hat they had received my request). Can you assist? Am I doing something wrong? I missed the winter quest & the outdoor one that gave everyone the tulips, sunflowers & snapdragons. Is there any way to possibly get these now? I noticed a few of them on an architect home lot, but no sunflowers on any of them.
