Thanks for joining!
This group is for Godot devs who are willing to test the Primes app and exchange detailed feedback.
Primes is a platform for sharing small Godot projects. It consists of a Godot plugin that makes publishing projects effortless, and an Android app that lets others launch those projects instantly.
App (live on Google Play):
Landing page:
---------------------------------------
We optimized Primes for:
- Creative freedom
- Iteration speed
- Low commitment
For developers that means:
- No web pages
- No long descriptions
- No screenshots or cover art
- No store optimization
You publish fast from Godot - then move on to the next idea.
For people browsing it means:
- No endless lists
- No misleading thumbnails
- No installs
- No menus or settings
If you’re done, you move on. No attachment.
---------------------------------------
We’re not looking for install numbers - we'd like you to actually try using the app and give feedback. We promise to do the same for your app - install it, spend time with it, give detailed feedback, keep it installed for 2-3 weeks.
The app is already live on Google Play - there’s no closed testing requirement. Feel free to share it if you think someone would find it interesting.
If you try the plugin and publish something through it, that would be especially valuable. You can publish in "hidden" mode - it won’t appear in the feed and is only accessible via direct link. You can also run the project on a connected Android device, without uploading anything.

When sharing feedback, we’re particularly interested in:
1. Would you personally use this platform? If not, what would need to change?
2. Do you see it as useful for Godot developers more broadly? Why or why not?
3. Do you see any fundamental issues with the idea itself?
4. On UX: What confused you? Where did you hesitate? What felt unnecessary?
5. Anything else you think we should hear - positive or negative.
Thanks for being part of this early stage. We appreciate honest, direct input.
