I followed the steps given in the website:
  1. Open terminal and switch to a sudo user for full privileges (eg: sudo su)
  2. Give full privileges access to the files in RedwoodHQ directory (eg: chmod -R 777 [directory where RedwoodHQ is extracted])
  3. Start Server:
    Go to: [RedwoodHQ directory]
    Run this command: start.sh
  4. Start Agent:
    Go to: [RedwoodHQ directory]/agent
    Run this command: start.sh
  5. Server is now running as ip address:port which can be accessed through Web Browser (eg: http://127.0.0.1:3000)
Now I ran the agent.

Still on hitting the URL http://127.0.0.1:3000, the webpage is not displayed.

Please help.

The agent doesn't have a web interface on port 3000 only the server does.

After your Step 5 when you navigate to http://localhost:3000, login using the default credentials admin/admin
Then Click on Execution tab and then on Machines: you should see your "Agent' listed there, this is how you know the agent is ready.

And BY THE WAY: on your printout there is says: http://127.0.0.1:3010

That should say 3000 if you kept the default port!

Suyash,

What I mean is that in the screen shot it los line you're navigating to let 3010. If you kept the default during installation it should be port 3000.

Hi Amrutha,

I modified my properties.conf file. Still no luck!
