A friend on the SDS list sent this link & I thought I would pass it along.  I was thinking the same thing my friend was—it looks like you can order any test without having a doctor order it.  I have not looked into the number of tests they run….  Just passing this along FWIW

Why would someone want test their doctor did order? If you don't trust / feel confident with your doctor, maybe you need a new doctor???? I also have a feeling they are out-of-network for any of the major insurance companies.

I didn’t say they were covered by insurance J  and if your doctor DID order the test, you’d obviously not need to go through this lab.

There are many reasons one might want to have a test run and not go through their primary—perhaps they want to know before going to the doctor or they have a hunch something might be up…..  or you could be a person like me without a doctor at all.  I have no doctor to go to, to request tests be run.

Have a great day!  I am glad that you are able to get all the tests you want run done through your doctor.

Peace be with you,

Pattie
