HI guys, were frantically looking for the name of a new med, trying to get it in before we leave for Donovans MAW trip. We've had a really difficult time with our kids asthma this yr, one virus/bacteria setting it off after another. And now of course, the waaay fun spring allergy season is upon us. Anyway, our nurse called today to tell me that our pulmo heard of a new med at a meeting she was at, but she cant recall the name of it. Its like Foradil, but brand new. The same way a different manufacturer took albuterol and changed it up to have less side effects, that same manufacturer took the recipe for Foradil and changed it up.....into a respule for the neb, not a dry inhale....and its half the dose, but reportedly works better. We were all thinking the different delivery method might help the kids out. But dr cant remember the name of it........nurse has hunted and cannot find it online......hospital pharmacist is gone on vacation for a week. Im hunting online, and going up to our Rite Aid to ask, but I typically get better answers from my online moms:) can anyone help me? thanks, valarie mom to 3 w/CVID |
