Updated PRIF Governance Document - July 13, 2026

Hello all, 

     The PRIF Committee is pleased to announce the publication of an updated PRIF Committee Governance document. To view the document, see: https://go.lbl.gov/prif-governance.

     After discussion and voting by the PRIF Committee, the policy changes to the governance document were unanimously approved by the Committee members. The following changes were made to the governance document:

• Refine the definition of PRIF stakeholder
• Clarify process for failed votes
• Update process for decision-making regarding the committee roster
• Update full Committee vote threshold
• Miscellaneous editorial changes
