[Action Requested] Vote to ratify PRIF Governance and Code of Conduct Documents

Hello all,

     Attached to this email are PDF versions of the proposed governance and code of conduct documents that have been reviewed in the PRIF Github repository. This email begins the vote to formally adopt these documents. The documents must receive approval from 50% of votes
(excluding explicit abstentions) to be ratified. Once ratified, these documents will then govern the process to update the PRIF specification and future revisions of these documents.

     This vote will remain open until 5 PM (Pacific Time) on July 1st. In order to register your vote, please reply all to this email and state your vote. If voting against, then your vote must include comments that explain your rationale.

All is good for me (I do approve these change).

Even though I do believe that “[..] and must receive approval from 50% of the current Committee members  [..]” should be rewrote :

• “[..] and should obtain a (strict) majority of votes [..]”
• or “[..] should obtain 51% of votes[..]”

Hello Etienne,

    Thank you for your response, but could you clarify, are you voting Yes (with the desire to bring up the discussion of updating the wording of the voting rules after the first adoption of the governance, and then we could update the document) or are you voting No (with the desire to have a revised document to vote on before the first adoption of the governance)?
    Hope my question for clarification is clear. We can further discuss this as needed in the PRIF meeting on Monday.
