A new version of PRIDE is now available that includes the following
significant changes:
* A minor, completely backwards compatible update to the PRIDE XML
schema. (Now PRIDE XML 2.1) Please see the XML schema documentation

* The ability to search PRIDE by peptide sequence. Please see the
advanced search page:

* The mass spectrum viewer has been considerably improved and
includes simple de novo sequencing. For a quick preview, please take a
look at an example mass spectrum from PRIDE:

* For the techies amongst you, the PRIDE source code has undergone
significant refactoring This will make it easier to use the PRIDE API
for third party developers.
We are currently working on a significant number of new PRIDE queries
and reports to make the PRIDE database more useful to the proteomics
community. These new tools will be rolled out over the next few
months.
