Dear all,
The Priberam ML Lunch Seminars are back for a third session!
Our next talk is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th at 1 PM at Instituto Superior Técnico (Anfiteatro PA2). As always, lunch bags will be provided!
This time, we are hosting a presentation by Ben Peters, Postdoctoral Researcher at INESC-ID, working at the intersection of NLP and speech. Ben will talk about discrete speech tokenization, a surprisingly effective technique to adapt text language models
to speech, and explore the nature of the units it produces: how, when, and why discrete speech tokens work.

If you'd prefer to join remotely, you can do so via Zoom:
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Kind regards,
