The Priberam ML Lunch Seminars are back for a fifth session!
Our next talk is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21st at 1 PM at Instituto Superior Técnico (Anfiteatro PA2). As always, lunch bags will be provided!
This time, we are hosting a presentation by Thomas Rolland, Postdoctoral Researcher at INESC-ID in Lisbon. Thomas will talk about rethinking how depth is designed in speech encoders, presenting a parameter-efficient alternative based on shared weights
with recursive application of encoder layers. This approach aims to preserve strong representational capacity while significantly reducing model size.
