                  This is regarding the problem of 6 digit restriction in cheque numbers. The problem was earlier submitted for Morigaon also last week. I had a telephonic discussion also with you regarding this issue.

                 There is a problem  in Golaghat District in PRIA Soft. Those checks who have 7 digit no. are unable to entry in PRIA soft, because there is only 6 digit provision. So kindly provide us to entry the 7 digit check no provision as soon as possible.

Dear All,

Pl refer to the enclosed email, the user is defining the no of characters permissible in the cheque leaf. This is defined while creating the bank. SO if at that time a cheque leaf of 6 digit is specified , it will take 6 digit no. So in case you want to change the size to 7 you are required to do this through the interface. Also, there is a check that if the cheque book is already in use you cann't change this. Pl try and revert.

In case you are facing an issue pl let us know the bank for which this change need to be done.
