Company located in Worcester, MA is looking for a Hardware Engineer.
Responsibilities: Will function in a Project Lead role as part of the
Adapters and Backplane Controllers group. Assess the technology
trends and investigate future products. Function as the internal and
external expert. Provide mentoring and guidance to other employees.
Provide expertise to storage program teams and participate in
cross-functional interconnect initiatives. Develop guidelines and
procedures to set direction by anticipating customer needs and search
for ways to increase customer satisfaction. 40% hands-on development
work.
Requirements: BS/CS or related field,minimum 4-6+ years related
storage experience, extensive understanding of storage options,
especially SCSI, Fibre Channel, adapters, and backplane controllers,
their implementation, and technology directions, and the ability to
understand external impact on internal strategy and to communicate
recommendations from both a technical and business perspective.
Hiring Salary Range to $90K.
