Hello all, again I want to welcome and thank Jenn Foss for volunteering to take on our Social Media Coordinator role.   Jenn will be our official point person beginning April 1st.  This isn't to say no one else can post, Teresa will continue to share on our page, and if something needs to go out quickly Lacey, Lydia and Linda (the triple L's) are there as support and backup.

Jenn sent over the below email and she has some great questions that we have decided to post to this group so we can discuss.

Original Email From Jenn:

Hey everyone sorry I will be unable to attend the meeting tonight. I have a huge quail butcher order and farmers market today rain or shine blah.
Please send me any pictures of the event that happened over the weekend, if you would like for me to post about it. (Or the people who attended please feel free to post about it)
Lydia did a great job hustling out our business partners that are part of the co-op Last month.

I had kinda taken a back seat posting because I didnt want to flood out the fb page.. so without further Ado here we go!!

**Something I'd love from you!**
-Dates for as many future events as possible.
-Topics for interactions-yes co-op stuff is great to keep throwing to the public but I want to think outside the box... I'm going to be sharing topics such as the importance of shopping and supporting local, farm fresh produce and products.... please send me more topics of interest   .
- steering committee meetings....I'm a bit unclear who can come to thoes... open to the public or closed for the board members?.... if open to the public I will definitely start sharing the meeting events!
- reaching out to businesses! Again thinking outside the box... we all know we want our local farmers and rancers for produce, meat, eggs.... but also think of the isles of a grocery store... pet products, personal care... I'd love to compile a list of other non farmer type things that are needed to fill the store shelves... and add new memberships!!
- goals! Can we make a few goals?!?
*-Facebook like goal-1,000 likes in 2 months
*-memberships-250 in 2 months
*-businesses- 10 more in 2 months
☆☆anything else???☆☆

- Dates for as many future events as possible:  Right now we have an April event at Bristols tentatively planned. Gabe will get us some more information shortly.
-Topics for interactions-yes co-op stuff is great to keep throwing to the public but I want to think outside the box... I'm going to be sharing topics such as the importance of shopping and supporting local, farm fresh produce and products.... please send me more topics of interest - This is AWESOME stuff. I am going to start a google doc of ideas, and we will have a discussion thread going that can be a space for us to brainstorm more ideas.
- steering committee meetings....I'm a bit unclear who can come to thoes... open to the public or closed for the board members?.... if open to the public I will definitely start sharing the meeting events! - These are most definitely open to the public and we really do want these pushed out more so that more people will see them.

As for your other notes in your email... all wonderful stuff. Thanks Jenn!

Jenn, Another area we are totally neglecting is the members only group!  I'd love to hear if you have any ideas to keep them engaged. Should we put together a survey to find out what our members want from us before we actually get a brick and mortar store?  I feel like what if we created a discount card with associated businesses?

How do we add members to the group from the main page? Group is for Member/Owners - YES? Some people in group not on Member/Owner group list.

Still waiting to here from Marcy about the Bristols event.

I really like the focus on social media goals and do not have any experience of what actions to take to make those a reality. Haha.

On the Thinking outside the box:   a list of prospective Businesses is a great place to start, we could add all kinds of details to like point of contact and interest, years of operation etc.
I wonder if a list already exists in the drive?  Will go looking for it.

Outside the Box also fits in with our vision planning for the PRFC;  it is meant to be more than just a grocery store, it is meant to be a community that interacts with the Community it exists in i.e. being a voice for these values and working to create those in more than just the store.  At least this is always my favorite part about it.

Thanks all!
