BUT, the point of this posting is to tell you about one of the
exercises in the book and share with you what I've written about
myself.
The exercise is about colour. What colour are you? Don't just go for
your favourite colour. Get a paint chart or colour cards. Take some
time to sit and contemplate the colours. Relax. Pick up the cards
and find a colour that really "speaks" to you. Something that stirs a
feeling or simply catches your eye and says "pick me!" You might have
some objects that are in a variety of colours and use them (as well as
or instead of colour charts) - but have something that gives you
enough variety to make a good choice.
You may pick a colour - or a particular shade or tone. It is entirely
up to you.
Now, imagine you are the voice of that colour? What would it say?
Write it down! You are the champion of your colour. This is your
chance to be as creative as possible. Rediscover your ability to
write creatively. You had it as a child - YES, you DID. Now find it
again and enjoy.
