Default Android unlock password?

Hello all,
Ok, call me stupid, but I tested the android lock screen feature
without looking at the unlock password. I guess I naively assumed it
would default to my Prey control center password. Obviously it didn't,
and now I'm locked out. Reading the android lock screen description at
the Prey website seems to indicate there's some default password...?
If that's the case (hopefully!) can somebody enlighten me so I can get
my phone to work again? Thanks!

Brian, try with "preyrocks" (without the quotes, of course).

Carlos.

Brian,

From the prey website at
http://preyproject.com/blog/2010/12/prey-for-android-new-features
"One of the most requested features was the Lock module for Android devices.
Now it's here! Thanks to the Device Administration API, Prey can completely
remote lock down your phone, and even set the unlocking password right from
Prey's Control Panel. The only downside is that it can't be a pattern, only
an alphanumeric password."

Have you tried logging into the control panel and looking for the
password? And/or resetting it so that you know what it is?

I don't have an android phone, so I haven't played with this version of
the app, so I'm just guessing here, but I hope the above is helpful to you.

Thank Carlos. I can't believe I missed that. Sometimes I amaze myself.
Thanks again for the tip. All is working now, and I'm feeling much
more secure.

working now.
