Is there any way to set default webcam?

Hi, i have 2 webcams, external and built in my laptop. Prey always use
external one, but when i plug it out it just take a picture of "plug
in your webcam" screen. If i want to use built in webcam i need to
disable in device manager external one, then prey use the righ one. So
how i can set my built in camera as default and still use normally
external one?

I don't believe such a feature exists today. This is a bit tough to do
across all the different platforms that Prey supports. I assume that that
Prey just grabs the first camera it finds.

What sort of system do you have? What Operating System? Perhaps we can
show you how to easily test the camera feature, and you can try to find a
way to re-arrange the list of video sources on your system to be the order
you want them in.

If it does, when unpluged, take pictures from the onboard webcam, you can be safe, as if they steal your laptop, I don't think they will connect it, and photos will be taken as pretended.

I also have the same problem and request. I have a virtual webcam and Prey is defaulting to it instead of the real one. For any programmers reading this: please build in ability to change default webcam!

There doesn't seem to be anything I can do except wait.
