Hi everybody!

We have got the following problem. By Our customer ‘s office three laptop computer where stolen… in these computers is not installed prey… but kaseya is installed… Kaseya is special software that allow the remote scripts execution.

So my idea is create a silent installation script to download and install prey , activate it, in order to catch the thiefs…

So I would like to kindly ask you if:

1)    1)   How to silent deploy it (silent install command line swtiches);

2)      How to configure via script; (i've find some confg file.....)

3)      How to activate it..(name of executable, service name....).

Thank you.

I have basically the same question.  We're using Labtech for automation instead of Kaseya but I need the same information regarding switches and batch installation and activation.

This is for Windows 7 Home Premium 64

Thanks,
Harold

You could try…
http://support.preyproject.com/kb/installation/how-to-deploy-prey-in-batch-mode-windows
to see if it can run completely silently with no alerts/ dialogs.

Otherwise repackage Prey, and make a script to add the device & api keys to the prey-install-location/config file after the install. You'd want to set up the device on the control panel first. It would also need to install it's schedules, which are registry keys on Windows. I'd run check mode afterwards to be sure Prey is happy.
You'll need to make sure the dependancies are installed first (.Net I think).
