iknow the simple answer to this question is to go into the project properties (current and/or default) and set the "error handling", "on error" and "on warning" drop downs to the "Continue running" value. I've done that (see attached image) and my test cases still periodically come to a grinding halt and I have to manually click the green triangle play button to continue. Is there some other settng somewhere else that i can check? I would note that this only seems to happen on one machine where I sometimes run my scripts. it doesn't occur on my own workstation but i've checked the properties page on it and they are set the same. it's got the same version of test complete as my workstation. I've searched the FAQ's and there's a few posts about using properties to stop the execution but nothing i could find about how to prevent a run from stopping when you don't want it to.
I think i have found the solution to this in a different post that relates to the same issue. The post is entitled "TC always paused on error". In it, Stephen suggests "Can you check under Tools >> Options >> Engines. It may be that the 'Pause test execution on posting an error option' is ticked." On my workstation it wasn't ticked but on the workstation that was giving me the problem, it was ticked. I'm running a test on that machine now to see if it does or does not stop on an error but I'm pretty confident this will be the resolution.
Shouldn't there be some sort of reference on the playback screen (where all those 'continue running' on errors and warnings are located) to check this option? would have saved me several days of research if there was.
Simplicity to get you started automated testing, coupled with a deep feature set that delivers results in complex environments. Developed to support cross platform environments (desktop, web and mobile) that gives your team one automation platform delivering maximum test coverage.
TestComplete delivers results across desktop, web and mobile applications. Forget selecting and learning multiple tools to provide coverage in your disparate environment of different platforms and technologies. Select one tool, learn one tool, become more productive with one tool that delivers across all platforms. Build tests that scale, that are easy to maintain and deliver results for your QA efforts.
Looking to leverage the benefits of Behaviour Driven Development? Integrate TestComplete with HipTest, our BDD based Test Management tool. Write and design your tests in Gherkin syntax and then convert your scenarios into automated UI functional tests.
With the smallest of learning curves you can be up and running, defining your tests in Gherkin (a plain English syntax that gives all stakeholders the ability to collaborate on the development of specifications and test scenarios).
All of this can be directly managed from the Gherkin scripts imported into TestComplete. Or integrate with Hiptest to deliver even more flexibility and agility. Nothing comes close to speeding up the specification and development of automated tests.
TestComplete supports integration with source code control tools and common CI/CD platforms. Supported with services like CrossBrowser testing and parallel execution capabilities in tools like Jenkins you have the ability to execute your tests at scale across a range of different devices and system types.
Link in with Test Management tools like Zephyr and you not only have development and execution power but unmatched reporting and visualisation of test status too. Integration with a range of different CI/CD tools is essential to your Continuous Test capability. Nothing delivers on the promise of Continuous Testing like TestComplete does.
This is a question that does come up a lot when speaking to customers. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA / 2FA) and/or CAPTCHA is tricky for any test automation solutions because these mechanisms are designed to prevent unauthorised users and bots from accessing systems and applications. Test automation solutions are essentially acting as a bot.
We turn the verification off in the test environment for all the other testing that needs to be run, TestComplete or not, and then we turn the verification on at the end and test it manually. For us, the MFA client is known to be good, so all we need to prove is that the connection works. There's no need to run the MFA every time for every login in our test environment.
There is no way to start execution of a script test from a specific line, but it is possible to move the execution point to the desired line. You can set a breakpoint to the first line of a script routine and run this routine. Once the test execution is stopped at the breakpoint, use the Set Next Statement action to move the execution point to the needed line and continue the execution.
TestComplete's Keyword Driven Tests have the possibility to add "Labels" and "Go To Labels". You can put a label anywhere in your KDT script and set a GoToLabel at the very beginning of your test to move to that point.
no there is no way you can run testcomplete scripts from a specific point. the closest point you can get to for runnning you script from a specific point is to use break point and then press F10 for executing one by one line of code
TestComplete is a functional automated testing platform developed by SmartBear Software. TestComplete gives testers the ability to create automated tests for Microsoft Windows, Web, Android (operating system), and iOS applications. Tests can be recorded, scripted or manually created with keyword driven operations and used for automated playback and error logging.
TestComplete is used for testing many different application types including Web, Windows, Android, iOS, WPF, HTML5, Flash, Flex, Silverlight, .NET, VCL and Java.[1] It automates functional testing and back-end testing like database testing.
TestComplete is used to create and automate many different software test types. Record and playback test creation records a tester performing a manual test and allows it to be played back and maintained over and over again as an automated test. Recorded tests can be modified later by testers to create new tests or enhance existing tests with more use cases.[2]
A complete blood count is a common blood test that is often part of a routine checkup. Complete blood counts can help detect a variety of disorders including infections, anemia, diseases of the immune system, and blood cancers.
A health care professional will take a blood sample from a vein in your arm, using a small needle. After the needle is inserted, a small amount of blood will be collected into a test tube or vial. You may feel a little sting when the needle goes in or out. This usually takes less than five minutes.
Usually there is no special preparation necessary for a complete blood count. But if your provider ordered other tests on your blood sample, you may need to fast (not eat or drink) for several hours before the test. Your provider will let you know if there are any special instructions to follow.
If any of your levels are abnormal, it doesn't always mean you have a medical condition that needs treatment. Diet, activity level, medicines, a menstrual period, not drinking enough water, and other factors can affect the results. Talk with your provider to learn what your results mean.
A complete blood count is only one tool your health care provider uses to learn about your health. Your provider will consider your medical history, symptoms, and other factors to make a diagnosis. You may also need additional tests.
Everything was fine until 350 watts. at that point I was still spinning at 99 ish rpm and everything was going fine although i was breathing harder. Had no issue keeping up with intensity level other than breathing harder.
Problem is my ftp stayed at 340-350 ish and did not keep going up inline with the demands of the trainer. I quit in frustration and bailed on the test? My ftp dropped by 32 points. I just left it the same.
I just went down and checked everything out. Just realized my tacx trainer tire is completely shiny and polished. Has little to no grip on it. I think when I run in the 50 and a smaller rear gear the speed or momentum is enough to keep me going against the slippage of the trainer. On small front ring and large rear ring the momentum is not enough and the traction is not enough to keep the test going.
A) Most EVITA TEST COMPLETE results are normal and you receive the test results by phone from the clinic. A short report is also mailed to you.
B) In the rare event that the results indicate an abnormality in the fetal DNA, you will be called by the clinic, who will guide you through the findings and talk you through the next steps.
EVITA TEST COMPLETE is a cell-based Non-Invasive Prenatal Test. There are several variations of the test called cell-free Non-Invasive Prenatal Test which are available on the market today, but EVITA TEST COMPLETE is the only one that:
EVITA TEST COMPLETE has been developed together with researchers from Aarhus University Hospital. Between 2018 and 2023 a clinical validation study was conducted in the Central Region on 344 pregnancies.
The results are published in the journal; Prenatal Diagnosis: How does cell-based NIPT perform against chorionic villus sampling and cell-free NIPT in detecting trisomies and copy number variations? A clinical study from Denmark.
EVITA TEST COMPLETE screens all fetal chromosomes for the gain or loss of a complete chromosome (eg. Downs syndrome is caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21) and deletion and duplication syndromes, also called copy number variations (CNVs), where parts of a chromosome are duplicated or deleted. Fortunately, deletion and duplication syndromes are rare, but can occur anywhere within the different chromosomes. Some deletions and/or duplications are more frequent and have a syndrome named after them, while others are rarer and often de novo (new) but can still be serious.
