PHILIPPINES TYPHOON- Volunteers call.

Dear PRETTC AND DSN rock-stars,

CALL FOR ACTION:

As we know already, an unprecedented storm: Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines- 3 days back with sustained winds at a ferocious 147mph and gusts of 170mph.

Early reports of severe devastation say:

Affected : 9 million people

Toll        : over 10,000 dead

Entire region is without any electricity and water and has left 1000s of children orphaned!

IAHV- Europe, and IAHV- UK have just heard back from local IAHV team in Philippines who are busy addressing the immediate call for food & water. Soon Breath Water Sound trauma-relief workshops will set in. They need all the help from us. 

This is an early call to the sewa-warriors , to all of us- please respond to this email if you'd like TO HELP IN ANY WAY, by any skills or donations.
