I wonder if anyone can help me solve this problem. I have a printer Brother DCP-T420W. I tested in two other systems from friends, Ubuntu Mate, works without any configuration and Linux Mint, had to install drivers downloaded from Brother's website.
Here at Arch Linux, i use the aur driver "brother-dcpt420w 3.5.0-1".
I have modified the AUR package brother-dcpt520w by Chiwan Park first, and then use system-config-printer to config the printer. Details are listed below, but some terms may not be exactly as the language of my desktop is not English.
If you're using Windows and you've installed a Brother driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this. If you haven't installed a Windows driver for this scanner, VueScan will automatically install a driver.
