Doenet activity and the pdf

I am trying to generate the print version of my book. It gets hung up on the first Doenet activity with the following error:

LaTeX Warning: File `generated/preview/doenetmaximingraph-preview.png' not foun
d on input line 3593.

! Unable to load picture or PDF file 'generated/preview/doenetmaximingraph-prev
iew.png'.

I don't know if I somehow need to generate an image of the doenet activity for the print version or if there is some publication setting I need. I did add the base url to my publication file.

Doenet activities are implemented as #interactive.

You need to generate an automatic screenshot of each #interactive for static output formats. Or you can provide an image of your own making (specified with @preview).

Hi Jen,

I checked with someone who has done this (Tien), and he seems to remember that the CLI generated the image automatically without issues when he built the pdf.  But it's been a while.

You could try running the generate step separately, but maybe there's something else going on.  Tien plans to be at dropin on Thursday, so that could be a good time to get help if it's still causing you trouble!

I have tried generating the image automatically and with the pretext generate command. I am travelling this week, so I’m not sure I can make it to the dropin, but I’ll try. If not, I’ll try to reaching out to Tien at a future drop in.
