to PreTeXt support

Hello,

I am using WeBWorK problems in a PreTeXt project with the AIM server:

<webwork server="https://webwork-ptx.aimath.org" course="anonymous" user="anonymous" password="anonymous" />

My problems are stored locally and included via xi:include. Overall, things are working reasonably well, but I am encountering two issues:

  1. “Reveal” button not responding

After clicking “Activate” on a WeBWorK problem, a “Reveal” button appears. However, when I click it, nothing happens. The browser appears to be waiting for a response that never arrives (no visible error message, just no action).

  1. Images in PG files not displaying

Some of my WeBWorK problems use images (via image(...) in the .pg file). Even when the image file is placed in the same directory as the .pg source, it does not appear in the rendered problem.

I suspect this is related to how the problem is transmitted to the remote WeBWorK server, but I am not sure what the recommended workflow is in this situation.

Questions:

  • Is the “Reveal” button expected to work with the AIM anonymous server?
  • What is the correct way to include images in locally stored .pg problems when using a remote server like AIM?

Thanks in advance.

I'm managing updates for that server now, but I haven't tried using local .pg files myself, and I'm not sure what the expected behaviour is.

Alex might know but he might not have time at the moment to look into it.
