Brad upgraded the author server to the new CLI release, and some books were rebuilt over the weekend. In at least two of those books, WeBWorK problems coming from the OPL would no longer activate, either in-context or from the assignment page. I filled out an issue on the Runestone repository and included the console errors I saw, things like
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: invalid assignment to const 'ww_baseCourse'
WeBWorK written in pretext source or xi-included still activated just fine - the reverse of the problem from back in August.
Brad downgraded the author server back to CLI 2.29.2 and I rebuilt matrixcalculations and ac-single. After clearing cache, all the problems activate again. active-calc-proteus hasn't been rebuilt for almost a month and every problem I've tried is activating just fine without any interventions needed.
So it appears something in the new release is breaking WeBWorK from the OPL.
