issues with 2.43 and latex-image

Just did an upgrade to 2.43 and it seems like latex-image isn't working. I tried inserting a new <latex-image> in a document and got generic errors. I attached the log files.

Also, I was trying to troubleshoot and it appears that the code inside <latex-image> is put into a temporary file and then at the end that is deleted. Is there a way to tell pretext to not delete that so I could look and see what was going on?

I think I know what the issue is. I'll try to get a patch out soon.
