Do you have a section (or subsection, etc) title with math content in it?

I'm converting my existing statistics textbook from LaTeX to PreTeXt.  When I build to HTML, I get a beautiful output with no errors.  When I build to PDF, I get the error 'TeX capacity exceeded' as soon as the compiler hits the first <subsubsection>.

Should I rewrite to avoid <subsubsection>s, or should I be looking in my code for some other error that is likely causing this?

Thank you.

Charles
