In the static version of exercises like this one:
Exercise 76.: Pies and Cakes
https://spot.pcc.edu/math/orcca/ed3/html/section-combining-like-terms.html#combine-like-terms-pies-and-cakes
there is no space between the exercise introduction and its first
task. I vaguely recall this came up before and was fixed. But I may be
misremembering. Or maybe it reverted with some other CSS change.

Probably a specific situation which had not been styled.
It is now.
