Drop-in participation Wed Mar 15 and Thu Mar 16

Hey folks,

I'm involved in running a research workshop tomorrow March 15 during our scheduled drop-in. I think Oscar is available to run the Author/Instructor Circle 4:30-5:30pm Eastern in my absence, but wanted to double-check with him as well as ask that anyone else available tomorrow reply here your commitment to drop in. Thanks for supporting our broader PreTeXt-Runestone community!

I pitched a community discussion on defining "free textbooks" on Thursday, and can attend. But with both Rob and Brad representing us at https://sigcse2023.sigcse.org/ (which I should have recalled) I'm leaning towards postponing. That is, unless there's a significant number of other community members who chime in here and suggest that it's actually great timing for them. Let me know.

Alas, it is truely unfortunate that the beach I will be laying on in Hawaii this afternoon does not have good wifi, so I can't help with the author drop-in (which hasn't seen participants in a couple of weeks anyway).

Oh shoot, man, I blanked on travel plans for many people this week, huh.

Random thought: when we have scaffolding for our volunteers/contributors beyond ad hoc showing up to stuff, having a shared calendar would be a useful skill.

On this note, I will cancel drop-in today and tomorrow, and encourage folks to show up Friday if they want to connect with the community.
