Right now the previews we get when sharing PreTeXt documents on social media are lacking.

And https://pretext.plus/projects/63724974-4325-4cee-bed5-7fb3bea378d9/share (this is an <article/> which probably explains why we have "Copy the code below..." unlike other <book/> examples.)

(This is all Bluesky but e.g. Twitter/X, Facebook use the same/similar kind of metadata.)

There's a kind of #millenial #genZ whose eyes would be better caught by the PreTeXt ecosystem if we can spice this up. Here's the low-effort version I put together for when someone shares the PreTeXt.Plus homepage:

Magic happens at https://github.com/PreTeXtPlus/PreTeXt-Plus/blob/main/app/views/pages/home.html.erb#L7 lines 7-13. I'm happy to make something happen for all PreTeXt documents, just want to make sure the PR would be welcome before I put the work in. Thoughts/discussion?

Sure! Sounds like a good idea.

Looks like an author would want to supply a string for the @content attributes present in your example HTML source? Maybe in #docinfo? Thoughts and ideas about markup?
