Oscar and I have been updating and revamping the PreTeXt website. Deadline is
the US Joint Mathematics Meetings, from January 3 onward.
The page content, and the script to build various resources like samples and
documentation, are now in a GitHub repo. That lessens the impact of the
project's low bus number and also enables *you* to make pull requests. Oscar
and I will manage those changes together.

Lots and lots of stuff has not yet been replicated into the new site. Some is
cruft, some is planned to return, some needs a commitment from maintainers. It
will very soon be open season to make requests for material to return. Not now.
So please don't jump the gun.
There is a preview version at

* The main page links for the Catalog and Gallery are inactive. I hope to bring
back at least one of these before going live.
* What else do you see that prevents the site from replacing the current one?
Like broken links? Or?
* Critical problems only - again, this is not yet time for a wish list of
favorite missing content.
Thanks to Oscar for initiating this and putting a lot of the infrastructure in
place (repo, Pelican settings, translated pages), along with continuing interest
and involvement.
I'd like to transition the website to this version in a couple days, and then
bring back a few things before JMM (I already have my own wish list!). Maybe
*you* will have your own wish list - PRs welcome. ;-) But wait - not right now.
