In a previous thread on pretext-support I asked about current practices
for typesetting tests using PreTeXt. The consensus was that because test
structures do not have consensus there is no direct support for this
type of document. This seems reasonable to me.
Now, however I am thinking about the next step. As part of grading for
growth, I want students to be able to learn from their mistakes on a
test which has included an answer key so they can check their work
against a model response. With the changes to the requirements coming in
April, the hastily prepared PDF keys will no longer function. This sends
me back to PreTeXt for typesetting, or maybe I need to look at the way I
provide test feedback.
Any thoughts on either how to effectively typeset tests/keys in PreTeXt
or to provide the same level of feedback without would be appreciated.
