Dont put yoursef at risk by only storing your data on your computer or an external hard drive.

With Invoice Home, your customer data, documents, and reports are all securely saved in one place. Our software saves and protects your data and documents on a cloud based platform that you can access anywhere with WiFi. That means if your computer crashes, you still have access to the data you need to keep your business running safely.

You can even easily save PDF files of your documents or export Excel reports. So, there's no need to go through each invoice one by one to see how much you made, find out which customes you billed the most to, or find out which services are your best sellers.

A huge improvement from when you wrote invoices by hand or used other invoicing services.

I need to print out my invoices to send with my orders. I have looked everywhere for a print option and the PDF option. I cannot right click and print because it prints the screen not just the invoice. This should be a default option. I just want to print the invoices! I have tried to print from Explorer and Google Browsers. I am using my computer, not, a mobile browser.

You must create a backup of all your information if you haven't already, you need to move that backup to the new computer. Install the program on the new computer and load the backup, confirm all your information is there and then uninstall the program from the old computer and register your license on the new one.

In the new computer, you need to make sure you install the version of Express Invoice that is compatible with your license. You will need to reach out to NCH Tech Support to get the correct download link if you do not have that. You can create a support ticket for them here:

**You must make sure you have a working backup, all information is saved locally in your computer so you cannot uninstall the program from the old computer until you make sure your backup works or you will lose all the information you have.

First make sure to create a backup of all your information, just go to Tools and then click on backup Data select where to back it up and that is it. Then uninstall the program from the old Mac to avoid blocking the license. When you are done make sure you download and install on the new Mac the version of Express Invoice that is compatible with your license or you will not be able to register the license. If you are not sure where to download that from then contact NCH Technical support for them to provide you the download link.

If the invoices are on the old computer and you backed it up ( ) they should show up in the new installation when you restore it. If you do not see some invoice, make sure you have cleared all the filters to be able to see all your invoice. Click View > Invoices > for Period and Display Invoice select ALL and confirm that you have deleted what you have in the Keyword field. In case you still have issues, I would recommend you to submit a support ticket:

Unless you offer professional computer repair solely on a volunteer basis, your primary goal in exchange for honest service is payment from your customers. Some technicians prefer to operate on the payment on completion basis, and this works just swell for residential customers. However, for technicians who resemble any form of computer repair business, having a solid invoicing/billing system is key to watching over customers who owe money and providing a systemic history of all work performed.

Judging from some of the discussion on the Technibble forums, however, it seems that many newcomers in the business are unsure what techniques should be practiced and which should be avoided. At my computer repair company FireLogic, I am the final person who details and approves most of the invoicing that goes out to clients. Invoicing customers is just as much of an art as it is the ability to tell a logical story on paper for payment and record purposes. To avoid some of the pitfalls many techs stumble with in their first forays into invoicing, here are some of my best pointers:

As a computer repair professional, you are providing a service which is sometimes not entirely understood by the customer. Do your best to provide enough detail to justify each line item on an invoice. This history of your service will not only benefit the customer in the short term, but it could help answer questions for them in the future. The more passwords, user names, and related information you beef up on an invoice, the more likely you will not receive follow up calls asking for this information. Save time for yourself and the customer and justify your labor with good detail.

This point pertains to business clients primarily. For most offices larger than 6-8 people, payments to vendors are generally cut no more than once or twice a month. Establish reasonable and appropriate payment terms with these customers to avoid confusion for both sides. They will know when you need your check cut, and in turn, you will know exactly when to expect payment. Necessitating business clients to have payment turnaround of a few days when they have 15 or 30 day terms with most other vendors is unrealistic and may cause them to go looking for a new computer repair tech. Whatever you establish as the norm with that client, ensure it gets in writing in some form, whether it be email or a signed document.

These few pointers should get you off on the right foot when it comes to invoicing customers. Have other tips for good billing practices in the computer repair field? Feel free to post them in the comments area below.

I know some other businesses need to be more strict with payment because they have cash flow dependencies and this makes perfect sense for why you need to stay on top of customer payments. But some good opinion Loren!

Yer keep the text simple when you invoice you customers good example for say a hard drive dont bill it as fixed sector 4 FFF0000 becuase they have no idear what you are going on about a computer would probably understand you

2. Create your invoices in Excel, which if you use the Office 365 version.can autosave while you work. Then import the excel sheet into QBO. You will need a third party app or be subscribed to QBO Advanced for ability to import more than just lists.

Feel free to read through this page to know the basic requirements for your computer: System requirements for QuickBooks Online, Accountant, and QuickBooks Self-Employed. It will also tell you to use the browser health checkup tool to know if your current web-browser is compatible.

I have some information about logging into your QBO app. You'll want to make sure you're using the correct login information for your QBO account. You can try accessing your account using a browser. Then, log in using the same User ID, Email Address, and Password.

Adrian, regurgitating the same bull feces about quick books saving only what you save is redundant, and unhelpful. It's also a slap in the face to OP, considering they were attempting to save, and quickbooks logged them out. Your commentary is not addressing the issue at hand, and makes it seem like you are actually a partially developed prototype AI bot, and not a human being.

Being able to automatically recover the data that you've put in would really save a lot of time. Newly added features and product enhancements are usually based on the suggestions that are sent to our engineers from all channels including the QuickBooks Community.

At the moment, an autosave feature is still not available in the program. We encourage you to send more feedback or suggestion about this. The more request we receive about a particular feature, the higher the chance it will added in upcoming updates.

You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.

The development of AI is as fundamental as the creation of the microprocessor, the personal computer, the Internet, and the mobile phone. It will change the way people work, learn, travel, get health care, and communicate with each other. Entire industries will reorient around it. Businesses will distinguish themselves by how well they use it.

In the United States, the best opportunity for reducing inequity is to improve education, particularly making sure that students succeed at math. The evidence shows that having basic math skills sets students up for success, no matter what career they choose. But achievement in math is going down across the country, especially for Black, Latino, and low-income students. AI can help turn that trend around.

Developing AI and AGI has been the great dream of the computing industry. For decades, the question was when computers would be better than humans at something other than making calculations. Now, with the arrival of machine learning and large amounts of computing power, sophisticated AIs are a reality and they will get better very fast.

I think back to the early days of the personal computing revolution, when the software industry was so small that most of us could fit onstage at a conference. Today it is a global industry. Since a huge portion of it is now turning its attention to AI, the innovations are going to come much faster than what we experienced after the microprocessor breakthrough. Soon the pre-AI period will seem as distant as the days when using a computer meant typing at a C:> prompt rather than tapping on a screen.
