Greetings everyone and thanks for your support of the Fresh Food Hub!

We've had a busy few weeks and there is some great news to share.  First of all we received a substantial grant that will pay for a lot of the costs for our first two years of operation.  That means we can really focus on customer service and making sure we're getting to all the places we need to be.  More information on that later.

We also got permission from the Powelton Village Neighborhood Association to park at 37th and Lancaster during the week, which means you'll always have a convenient place to find us Wednesday-Saturday when we're not at one of our community markets in the neighborhood.  Our website (www.facebook.com/wpfoodhub) now has up-to-date time and location information so you can start thinking about how we fit into your weekly schedule.  Don't forget to sign up for Greensgrow CSA shares and the Wholeshare bulk-buying club to really maximize your purchasing power.

All this great news also means we're ready to start hiring!  Attached you'll find two job descriptions for part-time positions to start in late April helping to get the project up and running.  The Market Assistant position would be perfect for a high school student or recent grad, and the Market Manager is a good opportunity for a motivated individual needing flexible hours.  We hope you'll share this with your friends and neighbors, especially in Mantua, Belmont, and West Powelton.

Last and not least, our soft opening is April 25 (mark your calendars), but you can come out and find us this Saturday, March 31, at the Green Block Build on the 3800 block of Aspen St from 9am to noon.  A sneak peek at what's in store for summer.
