Hi everyone and welcome back to Preston's Paradise.
We have a lot of news to share, most importantly being our new website where you can see updates and hopefully avoid long email messages.
The new site has a user feature that allows anyone to upload content, like recipes, calendar events, comments, and links, so please consider posting your stuff there for others to enjoy.  Unless you're an Indonesian spammer.
It's also possible now to get an RSS feed (if you know what that is - I don't), join our Facebook page (yipee?), and also donate through paypal (woo), all with a click of the button.  So consider doing all three for an enlightened experience.

On the website you'll also find information about our new partnerships and collaborations, which we're really excited about and should mean more stuff for you all, including more workshops starting this Saturday!!  We're doing a MLK day event for the senior home potting up and distributing house plants to chase away the winter blues.  If you want to come by between 10am-2pm you can help Suzanna and also meet some lovely old ladies.

But that's just the first, we're also reconvening our popular winter pruning workshop on Feb 13, tentatively called "Loving your garden day", possibly with some presenters - in addition to the fantastic Phil Forsyth - yet to be announced.  So keep an eye out for that.  And as always, let us know what workshops you'd like to see in the upcoming year.

And it's almost Flower Show season and we'll probably be hitting the dumpsters again, taking home lots of tropicals that will surely die in our cold house.  But you can help save these fragile creatures, so find out how soon!

I think that's it.  Come by Saturday, I hear there will be food and hot drinks.  And don't be a stranger while you're hiding from the cold wind.

Happy trails.
Ryan
