The crew at Preston's Paradise is excited to announce the launch of our newest venture - the West Philadelphia Fresh Food Hub!  Details are still in the works, but the basic premise is to open a full service fresh food store out of a mobile truck on Lancaster Avenue.  Think of the produce truck on 44th and Sansom, but with better quality items (including local and organic), plus dairy, grains, flour, nuts, and other items that make a full diet.  The truck will also be the new outreach home of Preston's Paradise, so we'll be coordinating our gardens, meals, and other events from a more central and neutral location.

We're still very much in the start-up phase, but the project will definitely launch next spring and I'm writing to you all first as our loyal supporters, and also to ask for a little help.

To get things started, we need a videographer to do a short promo video (2-5 minutes).  If you know of anyone, please send them my way.

We'd also love to get as much feedback as possible while we're in the planning stages so we can hit the ground running.  If you'd like to be part of a small working group figuring out the logistical details, also please let me know.

Many more details to come soon, and we hope to have you on board.
