Follow up to our AGM

Dear Colleagues,

Many thanks to all who attended our AGM last Tuesday and heard informative presentations from our panel of speakers. Special thanks to our speakers and to Talk English who hosted the meeting.

We will let you know about future meetings and events for 2024 as they are planned.

In the meantime the core group continues our work. We would love to find other members to join us, particularly if you have experience as a sanctuary seeker, refugee or resettler. Also we are looking for core group members who have time, energy and specific skills  - especially in social media, website design and maintenance and in communications and campaigning.  It involves attending about 8 core group meetings a year.. some of which are online, and being involved in planning and delivering a few wider events, together with a variety of background tasks which allow our organisation to function.
