Hi all,

XML support is a bit of a delima at the moment. Mostly because there's
no real concenus on, as to what DTD to use when serialising objects to
XML and the popularity of JSON on mobile platforms. Currently our XML
implementation serialises by doesn't unserialise data, details
available on the ticket

http://code.google.com/p/prestans/issues/detail?id=9

Our initial plan had JSON and XML support in it, but we are wondering
if there's the demand for XML support at all for REST services?

Would love your votes on this issue. Thanks for your time.

Hi,

Just started using Prestans, using CherryPy as my WSGI server, and Sqlalchemy for the data-store, and so far I'm pretty happy with the results.

Just my 2 cents, but personally, I have no need for XML as a serialisation format.

Cheers,

Rasjid.

Thanks Rasjid, for sharing your thoughts on the serialisation format, and for trying out prestans!

Glad you like it so far.
